London to Wrocław in 2 Hours: A Shooter's Weekend Itinerary
Hour-by-hour weekend plan from Gatwick or Stansted to a full day on the range and back. Costs, hotels, transfers.
A serious range weekend from London is a 2-hour flight, not a 9-hour one. Wrocław (WRO) has daily direct service from Stansted, Luton, Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh on Ryanair and Wizz. Below is the itinerary we recommend our UK guests, hour by hour.
Friday
- 17:00 — Leave work. Stansted Express or Gatwick Express to the airport.
- 19:30 — Wheels up. Ryanair STN→WRO is 2 h 5 min.
- 22:35 — Land in Wrocław. Schengen, no passport queue. Outside in 15 minutes.
- 23:00 — Check in. Either a Wrocław Old Town hotel (Puro, Altus, IBB) if you want food + nightlife, or a quiet rural inn near the range if you want sleep.
- 23:30 — Beer + sleep. Tomorrow is a long day.
Saturday — full range day
- 08:00 — Transfer from hotel. 45–60 min to the range depending on where you slept.
- 09:00 — Coffee + brief. Eye and ear pro issued, day plan walked through.
- 09:30 — Pistol block. [Glock 17](/shoot-glock-poland) fundamentals, holster draws, transitions, 200 rounds.
- 12:30 — Lunch on site. Polish home cooking, included.
- 13:30 — Rifle block. AR15 5.56 NATO, 100/200/300 m steel, positional drills, 150 rounds.
- 16:30 — CQB option. Optional shoothouse block, 30 min, if energy holds.
- 17:30 — Debrief + transfer back.
- 19:30 — Dinner in Wrocław Rynek. The Old Town is one of the most beautiful in central Europe. Steak at JaDka, pierogi at Kurna Chata.
Sunday — light option + flight home
- 09:00 — Optional second range day (precision rifle, AK47, or shotgun) or sightseeing morning.
- 14:00 — Transfer to WRO airport.
- 15:55 — Wheels up. Ryanair WRO→STN, lands London 17:00 local.
- 18:30 — Home in time for Sunday dinner.

- Hotel: £60–£120 / night, twin shared.
- Range — Saturday full day: €180.
