Question 1

I'm just a civilian with no gun experience — can I come take a class at Poland Shooting Center?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Anyone can shoot in Poland regardless of prior experience. All you need is a valid ID (passport or national ID card). You will be fully supervised by a certified instructor at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Question 2

Do I need a firearms license or permit to shoot?

Accepted Answer

No, absolutely not! You do not need a firearms license or a permit to shoot at the Poland Shooting Center. Under Polish law, anyone can legally shoot at our shooting range as long as they are under the direct supervision of an instructor.

Question 3

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants must be 18 or older. But safety goes beyond just your age—we require all shooters to demonstrate the maturity and responsibility necessary to handle firearms safely under instructor supervision.

Question 4

I have never touched a gun before. Is that okay to come?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is completely fine. The Poland Shooting Center caters to all experience levels, from absolute beginners to advanced competitors. If you are new to firearms, our Beginner Pistol Shooting Classes are designed specifically to teach you the fundamentals of safe gun handling. Alternatively, you can book Private Coaching for a tailored, one-on-one experience where an instructor guides you step-by-step at your own pace.

Question 5

What do I need to bring my own firearms to Poland?

Accepted Answer

Traveling across Europe with your legally owned sport rifle or pistol is much easier than you might think! To make your trip completely seamless, Poland Shooting Center will provide you with an official invitation letter. You simply need: your ID or Passport, your National Firearms License / Legal Papers, your European Firearms Pass (EFP), and the Invitation Letter from Poland Shooting Center. If you plan to bring your own guns, just reach out to us at contact@polandsc.com to request your invitation letter, and you'll be all set for the range!

Question 6

Can I shoot full-auto guns at Poland Shooting Center?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can shoot full-auto guns under the supervision of an instructor. It's completely legal in Poland, and yes, it's incredibly fun!

Question 7

Can I just come and rent a gun and go shoot on my own?

Accepted Answer

No. Under Polish firearms regulations, shooters without a valid Polish firearms license cannot handle or shoot firearms independently. For safety and legal compliance, you must always be accompanied and directly supervised by a certified instructor on the range.

If you want the freedom to focus on your specific shooting goals, we offer private coaching sessions. With a private class, a dedicated instructor works exclusively with you, allowing you to tailor your training, run drills at your own pace, and shoot as you like while staying fully compliant with the law.

Question 8

Can I book a private group, stag party, or corporate event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We host private group sessions, stag parties, bachelor events and corporate team-building days. A dedicated instructor stays with your group the whole time and we adapt the drills to everyone's level. Contact us at contact@polandsc.com or +48 510264470 to check availability and get a quote.

Question 9

What should I wear and bring to the range?

Accepted Answer

Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable outdoor clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty — most of our bays are outdoors. Bring a valid ID or passport. Eye and ear protection, firearms and ammunition are all provided, so you don't need to bring anything else.

Question 10

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept bank transfer, cash (PLN or EUR) and major cards on site. Online course bookings can be paid by card or with our Shopify gift vouchers. A deposit may be required to confirm your date.

Question 11

Can I take photos or videos while shooting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to film and photograph your own session — it makes a great souvenir. For safety, filming is limited to your own lane, and the instructor may ask you to stop if it distracts from safe gun handling.

Question 12

What happens if the weather is bad on my booking day?

Accepted Answer

Most of our bays are covered, so we shoot in almost any weather. In the rare case of severe conditions, we reschedule your session at no extra cost. Just let us know as early as possible and we'll find another slot.

Question 13

How much does it cost to shoot in Poland?

Accepted Answer

A full-day pistol class costs 1,920 PLN (about 450 €), an AR15 class 2,370 PLN (about 550 €) and our 3-day combine course 7,000 PLN (about 1,600 €). If you only want to rent a gun on the range, ammunition starts at 2 PLN per round for .22 LR, 3,50 PLN for 9mm and 250 PLN for the .50 BMG. Every price includes the gun, the instructor and range supervision — the full price list is on each course page.

Question 14

How do I get to the range, and can you arrange an airport transfer?

Accepted Answer

We are in Pawłów (49-300), Opolskie, about 45 minutes from Wrocław Airport (WRO). LUXCAB TAXI charges around 250 PLN for a transfer from the airport, and we arrange a minibus for larger groups. We can also pick you up from Opole or Brzeg railway stations. Tell us your arrival time when you book and we'll have the vehicle ready.

Question 15

What are your opening hours, and how far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

The range is open seven days a week, 09:00 to 18:00, by appointment. Every session needs a dedicated instructor, so we ask you to book at least a few days ahead — and earlier for weekends, group events and multi-day courses. A deposit may be required to confirm your date.

Question 16

What is included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Gun rental, ammunition and a certified instructor are included, as are eye and ear protection — apart from a valid ID or passport you don't need to bring anything. Full-day courses include lunch on site (Polish home cooking).

Question 17

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We sell three voucher packages online: a Full-Auto Package voucher, a Shooting Class in a Group voucher and a 1-on-1 Private Class voucher. They are delivered digitally, so you can print them or forward the email — a good option when you don't know which date suits the shooter.

Question 18

Can I try Nightforce optics before buying a scope?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Poland Shooting Center is an official Nightforce Optics demo center: our sniper rifles are fitted with Nightforce and Vortex precision scopes, so you can test the glass, the reticles and the turrets on live fire up to 300 m before you buy.

Question 19

I'm a complete beginner — can I still shoot a sniper rifle or the .50 BMG?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every rifle is shot under one-to-one instructor supervision with no prior experience needed, on the precision line as well as with the Dragunov or the .50 BMG. The instructor sets you up in the prone position, helps you with the scope and safety and watches every shot. The .50 BMG costs 250 PLN per round, so most beginners start with the .308 Win at 12 PLN per round and finish with one .50 BMG shot.

Question 20

Is there more to do than a single range day?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most guests stay a full weekend. The facility has 15 bays from 10 to 300 m, more than 100 firearms, a CQB shoothouse, a night-vision lane and the Kobe Tactical Gym. We host Tactical Games, IPSC, PCSL, IDPA and Steel Challenge matches, and we are the European headquarters of The Tactical Games. For sleeping, hotels in Brzeg are 15 minutes away and the Wrocław Old Town about 45.

Question 21

Why is Poland Shooting Center the best shooting range in Poland — and even in Europe?

Accepted Answer

Poland Shooting Center is one of the biggest shooting ranges in Europe: 15 bays built for every shooting style, from pistol and AR15 to full auto, sniper and dynamic IPSC-style stages. You can rent more than 100 weapons, all with an instructor and strict safety rules on every bay. We host competitions every weekend, run the best shooting classes to really learn how to shoot — from complete beginner to advanced — and we have the best shooting community: friendly, passionate and international.
