How Much Does a Glock Cost? Price Guide + Where to Shoot One

How much does a Glock cost? From $580 in the US to €800+ in Europe. Discover Glock prices across every generation — and shoot one in Poland with no licence required.

The Glock is the most recognizable handgun in the world — issued to police forces across the globe, carried by civilians, and a staple on any shooter's bucket list. So how much does one actually cost?

Glock price in the United States

In the US, a new Glock 19 — the most popular model — typically runs between $580 and $690. Smaller or specialized models like the Glock 43x sit a little lower, while full-size or MOS variants can climb higher. Used Glocks hold their value well, often fetching $440 to $580.

    Glock price in Europe

In Europe, prices run higher once taxes and import costs are factored in. A new Glock 19 generally costs between €600 and €800, with premium or competition models reaching beyond €1,000. But the real cost in Europe isn't the sticker price — it's the paperwork. In most European countries, owning a Glock means licences, background checks, club membership and months, sometimes years, of waiting.

Glock 19 Price by Generation: Gen 3 to Gen 6

One of the most striking things about the Glock is how stable its price has stayed across decades of production. Despite five generations of refinement, a new Glock 19 has barely moved in real terms.

A new Gen 3 today still retails around $500 to $840. The Gen 4 sits in a similar bracket, often around $475 to $600. The Gen 5 — long the flagship — launches new at roughly $550 to $600. And the latest Gen 6, released as Glock's current production model, slots in at a comparable price point rather than commanding a dramatic premium.

The takeaway: whether you're looking at a pistol designed in the 1990s or the newest Gen 6, you're paying broadly the same for a new Glock 19 — somewhere in the $500 to $700 range in the US, and €600 to €800 in Europe. Glock has added features generation after generation without using each new release as an excuse to inflate the price. That consistency is a big part of why the Glock remains the benchmark handgun worldwide.

The high end: custom builds like Taran Tactical

At the other end of the scale, Glocks can get a lot more expensive. Custom builds from specialist shops like Taran Tactical — famous for the John Wick pistols — come with match-grade barrels, competition triggers, precision slide work, optics and full performance tuning. These builds can run well into the $3,000 to $6,000+ range, several times the price of a standard model. They're what you see on the competition circuit and the big screen. For most shooters, though, a stock Glock delivers the reliability the brand is famous for at a fraction of that cost.

You don't need to own one to shoot one
