Fly into Wrocław Airport — the range is 45–50 minutes by road in Pawłów — and you can be shooting pistol and AR15 the same weekend. Shooters from London and the South East usually fly out Friday evening and train Saturday and Sunday. Groups from Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Leeds often book the pistol and rifle combine class so both platforms fit into a single day on the range. Scottish, Northern Irish and Irish shooters travelling from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast or Dublin tend to stay two or three nights and add private coaching to make the longer trip worthwhile.
Wherever you fly from, nothing changes on the paperwork side: no UK Firearms Certificate, no Shotgun Certificate and no Polish permit — just a valid passport or ID card, as explained in our guide to Polish gun laws for tourists. Transfers, hotels and airport pickups are on the plan your trip page.
If you are based in the United Kingdom and want genuine tactical firearms training, your options at home are limited to static lanes, .22 rimfire and shotguns. Poland Shooting Center exists to fill that gap. We are a purpose-built tactical academy with 15 shooting bays, an armoury of more than 100 firearms and instructors who train police and military units. UK shooters fly in for a weekend, shoot several hundred rounds through pistols and AR15 rifles, and leave with skills they could never build on a British range.
Dynamic shooting means shooting while solving a problem: drawing from a holster, moving between positions, engaging multiple targets, reloading on the clock and transitioning from rifle to pistol. Our courses build it in layers — safety and fundamentals first, then movement, then speed under stress. Beginners are welcome on every class, and experienced shooters, ex-forces and close-protection professionals can move straight into our advanced pistol and rifle combine with CQB and night vision modules.
Polish law allows a visitor to shoot any firearm at a licensed range under the supervision of a qualified instructor. You do not need a UK Firearms Certificate, a Shotgun Certificate or a Polish permit. Bring a passport or ID, be at least 18 years old, sign the liability waiver, and you are on the line. Everything — firearms, ammunition, belt, holster, eye and ear protection — stays at the range, so there is nothing to declare on the way home.
Serious weapons training means repetition with the platforms you actually want to learn: a centrefire handgun in a holster and a semi-automatic rifle with an optic. Both are closed to civilians in Great Britain, so weapons training UK-side stops at shotguns, .22 rimfire and static bolt-action lanes. Here you handle Glock 17/19, CZ Shadow 2, Sig Sauer, 1911, AR15 in 5.56, AK platforms and selected full-auto options — all maintained in-house, all shot under a licensed instructor. Weapons handling, loading and malfunction drills are taught properly before you ever move with a loaded gun, which is why our classes suit total beginners as easily as ex-forces shooters.
Our gun training follows a coaching progression rather than a novelty "shoot the big gun" ticket. Morning: range rules, stance, grip, sight picture, trigger control and dry work. Midday: live fire on paper and steel with immediate correction from your instructor. Afternoon: draw from concealment or from an open holster, movement between positions, multi-target strings and reloads on the clock. Because gun training UK clubs cannot deliver holster work or rapid semi-auto rifle fire, most British visitors progress further in one day with us than in a full season at home. Our firearms courses run from a half-day introduction to a three-day, 1,000-round programme. UK clients usually pick the pistol shooting class for handgun fundamentals, the AR15 rifle class for semi-auto carbine work, or the pistol and rifle combine to cover both plus transitions. Experienced shooters move to the advanced tactical class with CQB, low-light and night-vision modules, or book private coaching with a dedicated instructor. A realistic budget from the UK: £60–£120 return flights into Wrocław, £40–£70 a night for a hotel, 1,700–2,700 PLN (≈ £360–£570) for a full-day firearms training course and £20–£40 for transfers. Most British shooters spend £550–£800 for a complete weekend including food — less than the cost of applying for, storing and feeding a UK-legal rifle setup, and with far more trigger time. Wrocław Airport is the closest airport to the range (45–50 minutes by road). It is reachable from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin, either direct or with one short connection. Katowice, Kraków and Poznań are alternative arrival airports if the fares are better.
Yes. Any UK citizen aged 18 or over can train on pistols and rifles at our range with a valid passport or ID. No Firearms Certificate, Shotgun Certificate or Polish permit is required — you shoot under the direct supervision of a licensed instructor.
Home Office range rules effectively ban drawing from a holster, moving while shooting and semi-auto centrefire rifles in Great Britain. Poland Shooting Center is 2 hours from London by air and has 15 bays built for dynamic shooting, so it is the closest realistic option for UK-based shooters.

Technically yes, with an EU Firearms Pass and Polish import authorisation, but it is slow and paperwork-heavy. Almost every UK client uses our rental arsenal instead — fully maintained Glocks, CZs, Sigs, AR15s, AK platforms, shotguns and bolt-action rifles.
Yes. You never own or transport a firearm — everything stays at our range, including ammunition. There is nothing to declare on the way home. If airport swabs concern you, shower and change before flying to remove gunshot residue.
Yes. We regularly host serving and former British Army, Royal Marines and close-protection operators who want dynamic, scenario-based training they cannot access on a UK range.
In Great Britain you can book shotgun coaching, .22 rimfire and bolt-action rifle lessons. For handgun and semi-auto rifle work, the realistic option is firearms training abroad — Poland is the closest, cheapest and best equipped, with a 2-hour flight from London and full pistol and AR15 programmes.
Yes. Every weapons training day starts with a safety brief, dry handling and fundamentals in English before live fire. Around half of our UK guests have never held a pistol before, and they still finish the day shooting on the move.
A UK gun club builds long-term membership around static, target-focused disciplines. Our gun training is intensive and tactical: 200–1,000 rounds, one instructor per shooter or pair, holster draws, movement, transitions and timed drills over one to three days.
The pistol + rifle combine is the most popular of our firearms courses for UK visitors, followed by the one-day AR15 rifle class and the 3-day shooter programme with 1,000 rounds. Advanced, night-vision and CQB courses are chosen by ex-forces and close-protection clients.
